    Our founder, Dr. Rina loves her job! She’s been a chiropractor helping people in Corte Madera, Marin County since 1997. Traditional chiropractic is Dr. Rina’s specialty, and she takes pride in her sports chiropractic adjustments.

    She’s a great fit for anyone who has been seeking a chiropractor who can achieve the adjustments they’ve been craving, while maintaining a compassionate and healing gentleness at the same time. Her specialty is neck, and helping people safely and gently get out of pain is her true mission. She's the proud mother of two sons, ages 19 and 22 that have had a lifetime of chiropractic goodness, and she takes special joy working with new moms with toddlers and also the local Marin high school kids. Her favorite activities include hiking, scuba, crossword puzzles, reading voraciously and local barre classes!

    Dr. Laurie Klein

    Say hello to our associate, Dr. Laurie Klein. Dr. Laurie brings 20+ years of chiropractic experience to the team. Her adjustments are much like Dr. Tinozzi's, but she also has training in cranial work and extremity adjusting that are excellent for certain cases.

    Dr. Laurie loves working on athletes as she’s an avid cyclist herself. Another unique thing about Dr. Laurie is she uses a drop table for her lumbar adjustments, so those that don't like the twisting side posture adjustment might prefer her style. At Tinozzi Studios we have a team based approach, and you can try all of our providers until you find your perfect match. Feel free to hop around!

    Rosa

    Rosa is our deep tissue massage therapist famous for her strong hands and her work on low back and legs. She has been working with Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio since 2008.

    For people who love deep and nurturing work, she comes highly recommended. She studied massage therapy at the esteemed NHI, in Emeryville and is the heart and soul of the massage practice at Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio.

    Niki

    Niki is probably our deepest tissue therapist! She is sweet and will make you feel safe and comfortable from her first hello, but don’t let her fool you… her hands are ridiculously strong! Knowledge in pain management, stretching, and sports massage make her amazing and relaxing hands still very deep and effective.

    She is good for those that can’t get a deep enough massage… she can do deep tissue all day long. Niki graduated from NHI Emeryville in 2019, and loves to customize each session for the client. She has warm nurturing hands that will remind you of a wave, starting slow and easy and then picking up like a current to ensure all knots are loose, and limbs are limber before leaving…
    (Ask her about suggested stretches and also her plants.. she might give you one of her propagations!)

    Cassie

    We're thrilled to welcome Cassie to our team this year! She brings a wealth of knowledge and skill- specializing in fascial release and deep tissue work for treating chronic pain, migraines and headaches, joint mobility issues and nerve compression difficulties like sciatica, carpal tunnel and tennis elbow, and lymphatic drainage too..

    Cassie has also developed broad experience in more gentle work and is a favorite with her clients for prenatal support, lymphatic drainage, whole body stress relief and recovery from surgery or injury. She won’t let you leave without follow up instructions for stretches and self-care.

    Her journey to healing work started within her community, providing pain relief and care to friends and and family and partners going through tough medical challenges, workplace injuries, and other big life stressors. Her hands are almost always working, but whenever she’s not here she is probably lost in her jungle of houseplants or about to lose a complicated board game to her 2nd grader.

    Shel

    Shel will make you fall in love with her massages. She has been with Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio since 2010, and has a huge fanbase. She studied massage at San Francisco School of Massage. Her specialties are deep swedish style as well as deep tissue.

    She is excellent at working on specific injuries. Shel's a busy mom and wife, with a cute dog Cody that you'll sometimes see wiggling around our office.  We only get to have her a few shifts, but you'll often find her filling in or available by request. Just ask! She's truly amazing and worth the wait.

    Adela

    Meet Adela, who has 15 years of deep tissue massage experience and cranial sacral training and you can tell! Her favorite type of work is a combination of deep shiatsu and nurturing deep tissue massage, and she’s amazing at fixing conditions in the neck.

    One of her specialties is fascia work without oil, and she works that into each massage. To balance all that deep work she also loves working on the head and works in cranial sacral therapy when it's indicated. Pro-tip: Try booking a 90 min massage, and start it with 30 mins cranial work… you’ll be in a trance. In her spare time Adela loves hiking with her dogs, skiing and spending time with her adult kids!

    Leeza

    Another strong massage therapist, Leeza specializes in reflexology and is a master at foot massage! She loves to do detailed work on areas that need extra attention, with the muscles along the spine being her favorite area to zero in on.

    She utilizes a wide range of massage techniques stemming from deep tissue and sports massage, shiatsu, acupressure, deep tissue, Swedish and Tui Na to help you attain your desired outcome for the session. Another passion is abdominal massage to aid in detoxification, improve and stimulate elimination and organ function, promote rejuvenation, deep relaxation and assist with breaking down and releasing emotional charges. Leeza also enjoys dancing and doing yoga, and is currently working on becoming a certified yoga instructor!

    Irene

    Meet Our Graston-“Scraping” specialist. Irene is very strong, intuitive and knowledgeable about the human body. Bring Irene your challenges, she loves to solve problems in the body. She’s a great match for those with stuck patterns that they want to change.

    Irene is unique in that she has an advanced certification in a technique called "Graston" which is a scraping technique with tools that rids the body of scar tissue. She can combine this procedure with her deep tissue massage for an amazing treatment. Ask to learn more. She offers this technique when booked as an add-on, or you can just enjoy her amazing deep tissue work on its own.  (Fun fact: she’s also a certified pre-paramedic responder!)

    Patti

    Meet Patti! Patti’s strong technique blends the precision of Western modalities with the flowing, meditative techniques of Eastern traditions. She specializes in Thai yoga therapy—offered on the massage table for greater accessibility—along with trigger point therapy, sports massage, deep tissue, and therapeutic Swedish massage. Her approach is warm, intuitive, and therapeutically precise, creating sessions that are both grounding and highly effective.

    Patti draws inspiration from her 500-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, and Patti continues to deepen her understanding of human anatomy and movement.

    Patti graduated from the San Francisco School of Massage in 2022 and has expanded her training internationally, studying Thai Warrior Massage in Pang-nga, Thailand, and Balinese Massage in Bali, Indonesia.

    When we met Kristina, she stopped us in our tracks she was so good. (Rosa called her massage transformative!) Kristina has 20 years experience changing people’s lives through her intuitive, deep tissue bodywork. Not only is she amazing at low back work, for those with head and jaw pain, you will have found your angel in Kristina.

    Along with full body massage, her specialties are deep neck work and focused low back pain sessions. She also incorporates a strong, penetrating foot reflexology into her sessions. TMJ issues and the muscles of the face and head are also on her go-to list. A session with Kristina is amazing! Book 85 minutes if you can, to try it all.

    Carissa

    Carissa loves deep tissue, and is one of our cupping experts, she combines it with shiatsu moves that will change your life. Her clients love her for her firm pressure and skills increasing range of motion, particularly in the neck.

    This deep work is tempered by her quiet, calming energy and her blend of energy work with thai chi notes. Carissa is special! She went to the esteemed NHI in LA, and has been practicing 9 years so far. A fun fact about Carissa is that she loves bungee jumping! Yikes!

    Kathy

    This smiling face is the queen of our mini-massages, which are the little warm up massages you always get before your adjustment with Dr. Rina. Her hands are soothing and accurate, and she has a knack for putting everyone in a trance! You will only find Kathy on the mini massage schedule, not the hour long one.

    Kelsey

    Kelsy is more gentle, and she specializes in a deeply relaxing Swedish-style massage that combines elements of deep tissue work with more gentle techniques to promote lymphatic drainage. Her approach helps you feel your best while encouraging circulation and overall wellness.

    She enhances her sessions with cupping and gua sha techniques, which are effective for breaking up scar tissue and boosting lymphatic flow. After a session with Kelsy, you’ll feel as though your entire body has been cared for, leaving you with a deep sense of relaxation and renewal. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, biking, practicing hot yoga, and cooking.

    Karmin

    Karmin Skaar has been the insurance billing specialist of Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio since 2006. Here you see the brains of the operation, and we’ve all grown up together! Her warm smile greets everyone as a friend when they walk through the door.

    If you have an insurance problem, odds are Karmin has the answer. She grew up in Marin County, and studied Fine Arts at College of Marin. Karmin is also an amazing personal fitness instructor. Ask her for her card, though your thighs will probably regret it! We only get Karmin a few hours a week these days, but we love it when she’s here.

    Jeimy

    This is the sweet voice you’ve often been hearing when you call our office! Jeimy is our insurance specialist and patient coordinator, and has been taking a leadership role launching our new Massage Studio on the first floor. Her sense of caring comes across in everything she does.

    Jeanette

    This is Jeanette, the smiling face you see here at Tinozzi Chiro on all the of the chiropractic days. Jeanette is who to speak to about Membership or insurance questions, and if she doesn’t have the answer, she’ll get it for you! Odds are she does, though- she’s one bright cookie!

    Alethea

    Alethea is our weekend patient coordinator, and the sweetest person you’ll ever meet. She’s been holding down the fort at Tinozzi Massage Studio for over 5 years now, and we hope to keep her forever. You can trust that Alethea is always on your side, especially if you’re an underdog.
