Dr. Rina Tinozzi has been helping people in Corte Madera since 1997. She graduated from Los Angeles Chiropractic College in 1996 after an internship at Glendale Clinic, and then an externship in Marin County. Undergrad studies were done at University of Florida in Nutrition. She's the proud mother of two sons, ages 14 and 16 that have had a lifetime of chiropractic goodness, and she takes special joy working with children and new moms. Her favorite activities include hiking, scuba, reading and local barre classes!

Nelly Gutierrez is our deep tissue neck and trigger point specialist, and she was worth the wait! I found her in a spa, and loved her massage so much I begged her to come work for us. She is a passionate massage therapist who pulls from a wide variety of modalities to perform bodywork that is beneficial, focused and fluid. She specializes in delivering therapeutic bodywork utilizing a blend of swedish, deep tissue, and neuromuscular massage to customize her sessions to the clients specific needs. Rosa Zelaya is our massage therapist famous for her strong hands. She has been working with Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio since 2008. For people who love deep tissue, she comes highly recommended. She studied massage therapy at the esteemed NHI, in Emeryville and is the heart and soul of the massage practice at Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio. Shel Saxon will make you fall in love with her massages. She has been with Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio since 2010. She studied massage at San Francisco School of Massage. Her specialties are swedish style as well as deep tissue. She is excellent at working on specific injuries, and has quite a loyal following. Shel's a busy mom and wife, with a cute dog Cody that you'll sometimes see wiggling around our office. We only get to have her Wednesdays, but you'll often find her filling in or available by request. Just ask! She's amazing and worth the wait.
Julie is our neuromuscular specialist . She is a graduate of the National Holistic Institute’s 1350-hour program in Massage and Advanced Neuromuscular Therapy. She filters her training through the lens of neuromuscular therapy and enjoys addressing specific pain complaints and chronic holding patterns, giving her clients focused therapeutic work with a touch of pampering. Continuing education is a passion of hers, and you can expect her to periodically add new techniques to her repertoire. She enjoys incorporating deep tissue, active and passive stretching, and joint mobilizations into her work, and looks forward to partnering with each client to create a customized massage every visit. Bailey’s massages are special. She is our new CAMTC neuromuscular therapist, and we share her with the Bay Club. While her trigger point work is trained to be site specific and focused, she easily blends it into a full body Swedish massage. Bailey has been working as a CA certified massage therapist since 2014 and has developed a strong following due to her ability to adapt and accommodate to her clients ever evolving needs. May is our detective. She is a graduate of Diamond Light School of Massage right here in Marin. She has a strong foundation in anatomy and soft tissue pathology and specializes in helping clients navigate chronic and acute injuries. May
draws from modalities including deep tissue, myofascial release, and assisted stretching. Her work is detailed and patient, as she blends her detective-like deduction with grounded intuition for a deeply therapeutic experience. Nicole is almost always booked solid, days in advance. Need we say more? She is a licensed Massage Therapist with a wide range of knowledge in bodywork. She is a graduate of the Arcata School of Massage and has a BA in Communication Studies. She specializes in Deep Tissue, Pre-Natal, and Therapeutic Massage. Nicole uses her expertise in communication and bodywork to create an individualized experience that will help each client feel his or her best. Her style is deep and specific; however she has the ability to address tension and injury, while providing a complete and balanced massage. We’re lucky to have her helping as a manager at the desk these days as well.
Katie is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Massage Therapist. She holds a Master's Degree in Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University and has been practicing acupuncture since 2007 and massage since 2001. She tailors her acupuncture treatments specific to the patient's individual needs and includes massage in her treatments. Her amazing deep massage style combines Swedish, Circulatory, Deep Tissue and Acupressure. Katie was raised in Lake Tahoe and spends her free time in nature hiking in Marin. We’re proud to congratulate Katie for earning her nursing license in 2019. We hope to keep her around, fingers crossed.
Karmin Skaar has been the office manager and insurance billing specialist of Tinozzi Chiropractic Studio since 2006. Her warm smile greets everyone as a friend when they walk through the door. If you have an insurance problem, odds are Karmin has the answer. She grew up in Marin County, and studied Fine Arts at College of Marin. Her husband Stein Skaar is a reknown personal fitness trainer in Marin.. you may know him!
